Catholic Life & Reflection
It is no news to anyone that 2020 has been full of challenge and change. Although going back to school is exciting and I can’t wait, it is another unknown quantity. And perhaps I am a little weary.
A friend sent me the link to this song:
It is full of images that resonated with me; none more so than the cup with the word “begin” on it. We just need to start, even though we plan and organise and try to anticipate what is going to happen, we don’t have to have all the answers. We do have to have faith and from that comes the strength of the Lord.
Isaiah 40:31 (NRSVCE)
31 but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint.
Go gently friends, take care of yourself and each other.
God bless,
