It's such a joy to be Principal at St John the Apostle and to watch each and every student grow and learn. Thank you for your collaboration and support in working together to create the best possible opportunities for every child who learns at our school.

Farewell

We farewell a few staff members this week. Mrs Neiberding has been a supportive, engaged and hard-working Inclusion Teacher. She has helped staff, students and families alike. We wish her the very best in her role as a teacher at SFX next semester. Thank you Mrs Neiberding. The new Inclusion Teacher will be announced in the school holidays through COMPASS.

Ms Olivia Etzrodt has been one of our highly valued Inclusion Assistants for several years. Olivia has been such a positive, kind and supportive presence through the school, working intensely with specific students and well as providing general student support in classrooms. We will miss Olivia's infectious happiness and we wish her all the best as she begins her new teaching career next term.

Return to school

Just a reminder that the first day of term will be Tuesday 18 July. Staff will undertake professional learning at school on Monday 17 July. The Front Office will be open for its usual hours on the pupil free day.

I wish everyone the very best of a well deserved holiday break and the opportunity to recharge as a family and school community. We look forward to many opportunities to support and celebrate your child's learning in Term 3.
