Today I had a chance to sit outside for a while. I was under the shelter outside the school hall.  The trees close by are flowering gums. One white, one pink. They must be delicious because there is a carpet of blossoms underneath each one, that has been picked off by birds.

I took some time for prayer while I was waiting and as I was really becoming still, I noticed so many birds. I could see them and hear them.  As I am typing this I can hear them outside my office window.

In the still and the quiet is when we hear God’s voice. Today it was the birds and the blossoms reminding me that God is in all things.

As a staff we have continued our focus this week on St Ignatius, Rebecca Stevenson has led us through the Examen.
