ADHD Awareness Month

This month is ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) Awareness Month. The theme for ADHD Awareness Month 2021 is Reframing ADHD and discovering new perspectives. 

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting both children and adults around the globe. 

For 2021, the ADHD awareness focus is around the following:

• ADHD relationships and communication
• Comprehensive treatment plans for ADHD
• ADHD parenting
• Diagnosis of children and adults with ADHD
• ADHD and co-occurring conditions

One of our wonderful Year 6 students, Lacey, drew the below image, depicting what ADHD means to her. Lacey states "the picture represents all the noise from over thinking, and then having to listen to even more everyday noise". 

Inclusion Remote Learning Intervention and Check In Groups

Inclusion remote learning and intervention check in groups will continue until the end of Week Three. Inclusion group meetings will no longer take place on a Wednesday due to Wellbeing Wednesday. An updated timetable has been posted into each student's private channel.
