Student attendance during lockdown

During the lockdown period from 12 August to 19 August the following arrangements apply:

Friday 13 August and Monday 16 August are considered Pupil Free Days. All staff will be preparing remote learning during this time. No students are to attend school. OSHCLUB is available on these days.

Tuesday 17 August to Thursday 19 August our teachers will conduct remote learning. This is a hard and fast lockdown and to be effective it is expected that if parents can keep their children home they must. The school will be available for students whose parents are essential workers, employed in roles that support the community, or have vulnerable circumstances. Any student that attends the school on these days will be undertaking the remote learning program and not be taught by their usual class teacher. A skeleton staff will be on site for supervision to ensure no unnecessary contact between students and adults and comply with lockdown requirements.

This form is only for parents that meet the conditions above and must send their child to school for one, two or all three of these days. This information will enable us to provide the appropriate level of supervision. Please note that:

  • attending students must wear their school uniform,
  • students will be separated into 2 to 4 pods to reduce potential transmission between students,
  • the canteen will be available but limited, students are encouraged to bring their own food and a drink bottle,
  • there will be strict drop off and pick up arrangements that must be adhered to (you will be informed of these on Monday afternoon).

Thank you for working together to keep our community healthy and safe.
